This fiberglass insulation tube is made of alkali-free fiberglass and coated with a small amount of silicone resin. It is designed for high temperature applications, with a working temperature range of -60ºC to +200ºC. The tube has a length of 5 meters (16.4 feet) and an inner diameter of 4mm. It is also flame resistant, meeting the VW-1 standard.
The thermal rated fiberglass insulation tube is ideal for insulating and protecting various equipment, including motors, engines, plug wires, fuel lines, and decorative lights. It helps to keep wires neat and organized while providing excellent heat resistance.
When using this product, it is important to note that electrical wires should never be hot. If you are exceeding the recommended load of a wire, it is advisable to increase the gauge of the wire. This insulation tube may cause the wire to get hot by not allowing it to cool, potentially melting the insulation.
